Maersk - Human Resources Role - Back to Work - Returning Women Professionals - Reporting to Head of HR - India & Bangladesh Cluster, the B2W consultant will be responsible to conceptualize and drive key HR initiatives with the prime objective - delivering and adding significant value to the business. - We are looking for high-calibre women professionals to join our India organisation on short-term assignments for 6 months.This opportunity is for women who are on a career break for past 6 months or more. These assignments are short-term and aimed at developing alternative talent pools. - You will be working closely with other HR professionals in the region and will gain substantial HR operational as well as strategic HR planning experience, coupled with enhanced skills in managing changes, stakeholders and projects. - Maersk will evaluate the B2W professionals for full time job opportunities within the Group at the end of the project. However, the placement is not guaranteed. Key Responsibilities : - Implement HR practices on talent acquisition and management as well as leadership development in line with the company's strategic goals. - Proactively engage with leaders at all levels across locations to understand and address HR concerns and to build a high performing workforce. - Support leaders on all people aspects of company initiatives, ranging from engagement, performance management and talent management - Build an understanding of the business to formulate and drive the right people strategies. - Provide coaching, advice and guidance and challenge the status quo. - Provide relevant tools and programmes to attract, develop, and retain talent. Who we are looking for : - Master's degree in Human Resources Management or related discipline. - Minimum 4 years- work experience in an HR generalist / COE role in a global organization, ideally with good understanding of Indian labor market and practices. - Solid understanding of HR fundamentals - recruitment, learning and development, compensation and benefits, employee and industrial relations, as well as local labor laws. - High energy with strong desire to achieve and proven capabilities of multi-tasking and working under pressure and deadlines. - Strong abilities to build relationships and manage multiple stakeholders' interests. - Open- and cross-culturally minded. - Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
