Below are the Job responsibilities of the role:- A. Handling of customer claims and related recoveries for the Maersk and Damco commercial teams of AP Moller Maersk. Ensuring accurate data quality in the relevant claims system (Case Management and RMIS), assessing legal liability of the company to pay the claim and justifying the same with strong reasoning to internal stakeholders, ensuring follow up and pursuit of 3rd party indemnity claims. B. Claims Prevention: To offer support and assistance to other members of the team, thereby contributing to a highly motivated, enthusiastic and efficient team ethos in the claims centre. Ensure that corrective measures are taken in due time. Review of operational contracts, under center guidelines. Continually monitor procedures and business practice and take measures to correct instances where Maersk Group companies are exposed to risk or financial loss. C. Records Maintained To ensure all documents related to claims are duly electronically stored/physically stored for retrieval. To maintain confidentiality/safekeeping of documents in custody. Take charge of the monthly accruals list to CENFIN D. To actively coordinate with External Service Providers such as lawyers and insurance providers to ensure that the companys interests are protected.
