Maersk - Assistant Operations Manager - Time Charter (4-9 yrs)

Maersk Line is hiring for Assistant Operations Manager - Time Charter, Mumbai Location.

We offer :

Part of operations team, providing support to chartering team and ensure that operational related matters for Maersk Line's time charter vessels are attended professionally and efficiently in line with agreed guidelines, procedures and the contractual agreements; thus, being able to solve operational issues, so they result in minimum financial impact to the benefit of Maersk Line.

Key responsibilities :

- Manage and assist in regular operational communication between Vessel Owners and Maersk's front line.

- Manage and assist in day today handing of various charter vessels operational tasks/hire payment basis Contractual agreements between parties

- Manage and assist with phase-in and phase-out upon delivery and redelivery for all time charter and own vessels.

- Creation of new fixtures & extensions in Systems

- Manage and assist with War risk handling for all time charter vessels.

- Manage and assist with condition surveys and crane inspections for all time charter and own vessels.

- Manage and assist with off hire updates and follow-up.

- Manage and Assist with Incident reporting and update.

- Add hoc task; use the strength, talent and experience within the Maersk Liner business to ensure we jointly deliver a professional product to our customers and at the same time reach our targets.

We are looking for :

- Maintain good communications with internal stakeholders & owners of T/C vessels.

- Ensure close and personal liaison between owners and the post fixture team, maintaining our right professionally. Ability to get issues solved efficient and professionally.

- Maintain tidy working environment in your working areas and ensure

- Participate in team meeting/organization/department activities, share the best practice with peers, and contribute ideas for continuous improvements.
