We @ Macquarie - Gurugram have an exciting opportunity for you to join our EMEA Group Regulatory Reporting team as a manager. You will lead the regulatory reporting workstream located in Gurugram, India. The regulatory reporting team is responsible for a broad range of internal and external reporting requirements for Macquarie within the EMEA region, working closely with the Risk Management Group and other business groups.

- For each of the relevant group entities your key responsibilities will include, thorough understanding and review of the regulatory calculations and obligations.


- You'll also be preparing and be involved in finalization of ESMA regulatory returns, Annexure IV returns to FCA, BaFin and other regulators within EU region.

- You'll also be assisting with the onboarding of new returns as needed and assist with the automation of the return generation function via Axiom.


- You'll develop a detailed understanding of the business activities and the financial position of each of the regulated entities, covering a diverse range of financial and investment activities.


- You'll also support relationship management with internal stakeholders and development and maintenance of the control environment around each of the regulated Group entities; and the provision of management information.

- To be successful in this role, you will need to have a minimum of 4-5 years experience in a medium-to-large sized bank and also have people management experience.


- You will have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, economics or finance with post-graduate degrees and/or professional certifications highly regarded. Experience in a regulatory reporting environment within banking and/or trading environment or audit is preferred.

- You will have experience within asset management and program management, with adherence to the regulatory reporting framework implementation across regulatory user groups.


- You will also be experienced in building regulatory reporting dashboards.
