Machine Learning Role - Retail/BFSI Industry

- Proven expertise developing algorithms for solving diverse business challenges and creating significant business value

- Good Knowledge and experience in data mining techniques such as (but not limited to ) GLM/Regression, Random Forest, Boosting, Trees,Clustering, Decision Tree, text mining, network analysis, Deep learning, etc.

- Strong background working with large-scale data in distributed computing environments, including databases, data cleaning, and feature engineering

- Experience with Agile/iterative process in the context of research and analytics

- Experience with cloud/ server environment set up for distributed computing will be an added advantage along with spark and scala experience

- Collaborate with partners across business groups, evaluate emerging techniques that may contribute to existing analytical capabilities and computational models

- Enthusiasm for proactively seeking, exploring and developing use cases for new data and/or tools/wider industry trends

- The ideal candidate combines strong business and analytical skills with project management and ability to influence others

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to develop and effectively communicate complex concepts and ideas
