Luthra & Luthra Chartered Accountants - Assistant Manager - Tax (2-4 yrs)
Job Responsibilities:
- Formulate, implement, and evaluate legal tax reduction strategies.
- Monitor and maintains accurate records of each client's tax situation.
- Analyze and minimize tax liabilities by implementing tax reduction strategies.
- Review financial records, income statements, and expenditures.
- Prepare the updates for publishing articles and news flash relating to taxation.
- Developing a coherent and defensible TP policy.
- TP Compliance and documentation management.
- Assisting in various advisory projects wherein research has to be conducted and detailed memos with opinions to be drafted.
- Oversight of the Company's transfer pricing matters and partnering with multiple stakeholders to provide support on transfer pricing related issues.
- Manage and prepare transfer pricing documentation to support intra-group transactions in compliance with local regulations.
- Evaluating and addressing the implications of the proposed changes in tax regulations.
- End to end execution of client deliverable ensuring quality and timeliness.
- Prepare and filing tax returns and work papers for companies, partnerships, and individuals.
- Consult with clients, review their tax information, and respond to questions and concerns.
- Advise clients on tax strategies, compensation and benefit plans, and accounting systems.
- Responsible to legally minimize tax liabilities through the informed application of tax laws and regulations.
- Prepare and review tax calculations, estimates and reports accruals and purpose partnering with country, regional and corporate finance, tax, legal business and operations terms.
- Stay updated with the amendment and legal precedents and assist the client to implement the required changes.
Job Requirements:
Technical Skillset:
- Qualified CA with 2-4 years of experience.
- Experience with top 20 CA firm is an advantage.
- Experience in litigation, Tax Assessments (Direct and International).
- Stay upto date on the latest tax law changes. Take advantage of continuing education opportunities.
- Prior experience in tax strategy implementation, planning support and project management will be advantageous.
- Should be well versed with the Income Tax Act, Indian transfer pricing regulations and OECD TP Guidelines.
- Good exposure in transfer pricing compliances and international taxation.
- Should understand the deadlines and ready to work on timely manner.
