Plant Head - Karad (MH)

Company Profile:

Gepil is the Leading Environment Management organization and one of the industry pioneers in the field of Environment Infrastructure Projects. Company is in the business of developing Enviro Protection and Infrastructure projects on DBOO (Design, Built, Own and Operate) or BOO basis. GEPIL is presently having its TSDF, AFRF sites across the county which have been developed and operating from the last 20 - 30 years.

- Currently we are having job opportunity for the unit Head profile for one of our Green Gene site located at Karad (MH) in West India (DNH - Zone).

Role Objective:

Lead, Plan, develop, implement strategies to achieve units business objectives within defined budgets ensuring resource and cost optimization. Responsible for overall effectiveness of plant operations, Logistics, EHS and Commercial function at the site.

I KEY RESULT AREAS : 

1. Responsible for the overall organizations, management direction and control of all functional department at unit level.


 2. Identify and explore new business opportunities within core and related business areas

3. Network with influencers and stakeholders to build a positive image for the industry and the organization.

4. Achieve verticals profitability and cost optimization objectives.

5. Set and achieve volume and profit objectives for existing business. (Defined for 3 to 5 year time frame)

6. Define bench marks for stake holders satisfaction and set objectives for their achievements.

7. Leadership development through Capacity Building
 
II STRATEGY & PLANNING : 

1. Strategize Business Expansion and Initiate and set directions for operating budgets and approve as per set guidelines.

2. Provide leadership and direct all operations across by developing adequate review systems and procedures to ensure efficient operations and new on-site project developments.

3. Develop guidelines and set standards to enable core team to achieve high standards in selecting, approving and managing high quality vendor relations for mutual business synergies.

4. Initiate strategic initiatives and give directions for implementation with a view to developing sustained competitive advantages for the business.

5. Plan and implement high performance work systems and initiate appropriate employee training and development initiatives to ensure success of such programs.

6. Incubate new innovations and support to achieve scale and ensure operationalisation.

III OPERATIONS:

1. Responsible for the overall organizations, management direction and control of all functional department at unit level.

2.Planning, organizing, formulating, directing and controlling the operations activities to achieve desired level of output in terms of Productivity, Quality and Unit Costs.

3.Review site operations, quality standards and Standard Operational Procedures (SOP) at site with focus on Customer Satisfaction.

4.Approve changes to the projects' scopes, variance factors and changes to budgets to enhance project outcomes, and review the detailed project final account.

5.Lead development of methods, procedures and plans and implement for operational effectiveness.

6.Review performance of the team in respect to achievement of goals and objectives and set directions to achieve excellence.

7..Ensure adequate availability of resources across business verticals and their effective utilization.

8.Identify new sites for existing business expansion and initiate with projects for completion of facilities.

9.Approve regular reports and deliverables required by the clients and resolve any upcoming conflicts or discrepancies (if any) in matters escalated to him.

10.Ensure maintenance of inventory as per norms defined.

11.Coordinate resource planning for all sites

12.Monitor the effectiveness of procurement systems at the corporate level.

IV COMPLIANCE & RISK MITIGATION:

1 To ensure highest level of operational health and safety standards.

2 Review high-level deliverables across projects and ensure implementation within timelines & budgets.

3 Develop effective tendering processes ensuring implementation and approval as set guidelines.

4 Derisk business through Diversification and broad basing of client base.

5 Monitor, develop and implement quality standards certifications across all relevant sites. (ISO 9000/14000/18000)

6 Ensure adherences to all statutory and legal compliances across all sites.

7 , Co-ordinate, handle all Legal & statutory norms and authority effectively (MOEF / CPCB / GPCB.)

V SYSTEMS & MIS:

1 Ensure 100% compliance of systems and continuous up gradation of quality of analytical reports and reviews.

2 Monitor implementation and implementation of all safety procedures and practices across sites

VI RESOURCE MANAGEMENT: 

1.Provides leadership and leads the implementation of systems and processes to maintain a highly engaged workforce. Engagement, Talent Development, Performance Management, Succession planning and training.

2. Develop a dynamic leadership pipe line to create talent for organization expansions and growth.

3.Ensure effective talent acquisition and induction to establish foundation for retention of talent.

4.Create a culture of continuous learning to develop individual for organizational growth.
