JOB RESPONSIBILITIES : 

1. Statutory Compliance :

I. Develop and oversee control systems to prevent or deal with violations of legal guidelines and internal policies.

II. Evaluate the efficiency of controls and improve them continuously.

III. Devise procedures, reports etc. periodically to identify hidden risks or non-conformity issues.

IV. Draft, modify and implement company policies

V. Review the work of colleagues when necessary to identify compliance issues and provide advice or training.

VI. Keep abreast of regulatory developments within or outside of the company as well as evolving best practices in compliance control.

VII. Prepare reports for senior management and external regulatory bodies as appropriate.

VIII. Guide, Monitor and supervise Statutory Compliance team.

2. Talent Acquisition : 

I. Develop candidate talent pipelines through sourcing channels, recruitment campaigns (walk-ins and campus recruitment), internet searches, networking groups, social media, database search, and referrals.

II. Promote skill development programme such as NETAP, Apprentice, and other.

III. Promote the internal sourcing, referral sourcing (Parichay)

IV. Guide, Monitor and supervise talent acquisition team.

3. Industrial Relation :

I. Consultant and partner of Head of Human Resources in Labor and Industrial Relation matters.

II. Handling labor dispute between employee and company, as a liaison to the

III. government, and as a management representative

IV. Represents the Company in discussions and meetings with government agencies and Labor Union.

V. Processes labor disputes/grievances in a proper and timely manner, develop

Complaint and investigation : 

VI. To initiate appropriate disciplinary actions as per company rules & regulations.

4. Contractor Management :

I. Ensure and monitor monthly statutory compliance by contractors and vendors.

II. Monitor the plant wise deployment of contract workers.

5. To ensure insurance for employees & settlement of claims, if any under Group Personal Accident and Medi-claim policies.

6. Effective coordination of all activities of Learn & Earn scheme e.g. learner's stay, transport, learning arrangement etc.

7. Responsible to conduct the EHS walkthrough and physical condition tour as per schedule.

8. Provide support to subordinates on EHS Compliance.

9. Responsible to initiate and ensure compliance of work permit system.

10. To follow the safety instructions lay down by the safety dept.

11. Responsible to follow the Onsite Emergency Plan and make yourself available in case of emergency.

12. To follow the guidelines lay down by the Management in the areas of Environment, Safety, Health & Quality.

13. To Ensure PPEs compliance.

14. Responsible to report event and near misses on time.

15. Responsible to play a roll of incident controller during emergency.

16. To follow the guidelines lay down by the Management in the areas of Environment, Safety, Health & Quality.

17. Responsible as Co-Champion of Contract management process under ISRS.

18. Responsible to review the prepared and amended ISRS guidelines.

19. Responsible to conduct EHS walkthrough and physical condition tour as per schedule.

20. Responsible as a coordinator of ISRS activities.

21. Responsible to prepare legal registers & its compliances.

22. Responsible as Contract Manager for assigned contractors.

23. Responsible for Annual/Half yearly Medical Check-up of all employees.

1. Communication & Presentation: Excellent Communication and Presentation Skills. Good on MS PPT. Ability to interact with varied audiences and express ones point of view, creating a win-win situation.

2. Influencing: Ability to influence outcomes by sustained efforts. Capable of leading the team as well as stake holders towards change and development.

3. Initiation : Should be a self-starter. Able to initiate actions and produce positive results through sustained efforts and also motivate team / various stake holders for the same.

4. Drafting & Documentation : Capable of drafting policies, guidelines and procedures. Error-free and immaculate documentation.

5. Analytical Ability : Analytical skills to visualize the cost-benefits of a training and development intervention. Build and sustain the initiative with foresight and see-through the implementation.
