Principal Accountabilities:
- Monitor Risk Metrics: Continuously track and evaluate risk metrics and triggers associated with various retail products to ensure adherence to risk tolerance levels.
- Hindsight Disbursed Cases: Regularly review disbursed cases, identifying risk patterns and issues, and discuss - findings with relevant teams for corrective action.
- Evaluate New Product Proposals: Provide risk assessment feedback on new retail product proposals, ensuring alignment with organizational risk frameworks.
- Risk Analytics & Reporting: Analyze risk data, collaborate with business, credit, and collection teams, and implement improvements based on findings.
- Generate reports that provide actionable insights.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive ongoing enhancements in the business control environment by using data-driven insights to refine processes and risk management practices.
- Audit Coordination: Liaise with internal and external audit teams to provide necessary reports and data, ensuring compliance with audit requirements.
Key Skills and Knowledge:
- Risk Management Expertise: A solid background in risk management within the BFSI/NBFC sectors, with strong knowledge of retail products.
- Product Knowledge: In-depth understanding of retail financial products.
- Scorecard Understanding: Familiarity with scorecards/models used in risk management would be advantageous.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint for data analysis and report generation.
- Problem Solving: A proactive approach to identifying issues and implementing solutions, with a focus on accuracy and detail.
- Client/Stakeholder Management: Strong experience in managing stakeholder expectations and delivering results.
- Financial Understanding: A good grasp of market trends and financial principles to support decision-making
