Regional Credit Manager


1. JOB PURPOSE :

- Implement and Act in accordance with the Organization's Policies and Process and Credit Delegation

- In addition, adhere to Regulatory and Audit Compliance

- Review and Monitor Branch Underwriter in Loan Appraisals, TAT, Risk Appetite and Support to Business

- Need to keep updated with latest SOP Changes and process requirements

- Assist towards Process - Key Improvement Activities

- Conduct Review of Files to validate Process requirements and Policy adherence - Completeness and Accuracy

- Proactively inform Team of Upcoming Red Flags and Triggers

- To identify Portfolio Risk in Underlying Business Practices and Fraud Exposures

- Training the Credit Managers on Processes and policies

- Work Closely with Regional Sales, Product Group and Credit Managers and Operations to constantly refine credit underwriting processes in Region / State

- Maintain data on Credit waivers and Deviations and track the same

- Provide input on competitive guidelines from time to time to ensure that there is a competitive benchmarking

2. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES :

- Responsible For credit approval for credit region in adherence to Policies and Process of the Organization. within the agreed TAT.Ensure implementation of Best Credit Practices

3. DIMENSIONS :

- Financial Skills required for Underwriting

- Behavioural Pattern of Customer Profiles. Market Risk and pattern of credit off takes

- Geo Limits, Type of Profiles, Fraud Triggers

- Location Specific - Business practices and market knowledge

- Vendor Management

- Leadership skills

- Product and documentation knowledge

Other Dimensions :

Educational Qualifications :

Minimum - Post Graduate

Preferably - CA / MBA - Finance

Functional Skills :

- Knowledge & understanding of Corporate laws, drafting abilities & organizing skills.

- Relevant and total years of Experience

Overall : 8 to 10 years

Relevant : 6 to 8 years
