1. JOB PURPOSE (Briefly describe the general purpose of the position or its significance from the organisation's point of view and how it contributes to the overall mission/objective of the organization). To provide support to Team Leader - Housing Finance to manage all legal issues of the Company w.r.t. preparation, drafting, vetting and closure of loan documents, security creation documents, etc. with a focus on enabling the deals for the Company and providing constant support to business and compliance Teams in successfully closing the deals

2. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES (List the responsibilities/duties associated with the job)

1. General Advising : Advising Business and other Functions on various legal issues faced by them during their day to day work in consultation with Team Leader


2. Review of Credit Committee Notes : Review the Credit Committee Proposals / notes and give comments on the same.


3. Review and finalize Term Sheet - Review and finalize the term sheets for construction funding transactions.


4. Negotiations - Review, negotiate and finalize the transaction documents in consultation with Team Leaders.


5. Statutory and Regulatory Updates & analysis on a daily basis

6. Due Diligence, Pre-closing, Closing, Post-closing Compliances : Review of property documents and title search reports

7. Knowledge sharing : Conducting training sessions for the Business and other Teams for sharing knowledge on various legal aspect;


8. Litigation : Review and follow up with recovery team wrt progress of outstanding litigation and liaise with and manage
