Job Title: Part of Corporate Legal department (Depending upon the Skillsets/experience) Location : Mumbai Education : BA LLB from NLUs, Faculty of Law and other equivalent colleges Experience : 9 - 24 years Key Responsibilities : - To be responsible for all matters pertaining to legal/statutory compliances of the company required under the law of the land including overseeing the legal functions of any Independent Companies on case to case basis. - To keep track of the major trends emerging in the field of governmental policy/legislative business and suggest concomitant proactive measures to deal with them. Responsible for : 1. Finalization of Purchase Agreement 2. Vetting of Contracts 3. Filing of litigation in HC and SC for various matters 4. Matters before the Tribunals 5. Matters before the CERC - Prepare the Legal Strategy and Policy related to the Management of the legal environment of Company's business. - To set up systems, processes, procedures in line with the Legal Strategy - To create a legally compliant work culture/environment throughout the Company. - To deal with the whole myriad of issues, systems, policies, and procedures related to the legal discipline. - To coordinate all matters pertaining to litigation/having legal implications with the Advocates / legal Consultants and be the Organization's Representative in all the court matters. - To be responsible for all judicial/quasi-judicial issues and matters involving mediation/arbitration/adjudication. - To act as an In-house Advisor for all legal matters.
