We, Lowe's are looking for experienced Analysts in Bangalore. Requirements: - Advanced SQL - VBA skills - Python experience preferred - Advanced Excel preferred - Basic business understanding is mandatory. Ideally, this role is great for someone wanting to be in tech/automation in the short term, but wanting to move to the 'analysis' side of things in the long run by using their core tech skills/bent of mind. Responsibilities: - Mon and Tue- : Own and deliver weekly deliverable on-time and accurately. These deliverables will be based on Financial numbers, so someone with some understanding of those or at least liking towards those would be best! - Wed to Fri- : Time will be spent mainly for - Automating- existing reports/ making it better technically by converting Excel based deliverable to online platforms using the available tools. Tasks will also include - Dashboard creation- in Excel and using other available technologies to improve. Please note that this role is - NOT- for a SQL Developer, but a SQL User - you will not be creating databases/tables as such, but instead, use your knowledge to extract information. Technologies in use: - SQL to connect to Teradata and Hadoop to extract data. Also to use ODBC. - VBA to make Excel tasks happen automatically - Micro Strategy - Power BI - Python - for advanced work
