Job Summary: The Program Lead/Manager - Innovation Labs role is responsible for building the Lowe's Innovation Labs- brand in the start-up ecosystem, creating an effective outreach strategy to generate start-up/partner leads and manage start-up engagements with the overall objective of building technology capabilities for Lowe's. Roles & Responsibilities - Core Responsibilities Community/Ecosystem Development Expertise - Is very familiar with the Indian tech startup ecosystem; has awareness of and is a possible participant in the relevant entrepreneur circles - Responsible for anything and everything related to LIL-B ecosystem development, start-up outreach and envisioning partnership opportunities - Represent LIL-B externally, raising awareness of the brand and creating opportunities for meaningful engagement with key stakeholders within the wider ecosystem of startups, corporates, partners, etc. This will involve hosting relevant events with external audiences (talks, round tables, VIP tours), participating in conferences and speaking engagements, networking, and more - Providing business guidance on external marketing and communications, managing social media marketing, blogging, promotional campaigns - Manage incoming applications/leads to LIL-B's start-up engagement program and ensure prospective partners represent a good fit for Lowes - Interacting with lots of different people on a daily basis and getting relevant members excited about collaborating with LIL-B - Expertise in Evaluating Technologies in domains such as AR/VR, AI, 3D printing, Robotics, Computer Vision, etc. Technology and Partner Evaluation - The ability to design technology and start-up partner selection criteria to effectively scout for relevant participants in our start-up engagement program. This includes an in-depth ability to understand start-up technology, Innovation Labs- mandate and Lowe's business scenarios to uncover fitment Creating the New and Different - The ability to develop creative ideas and question conventional approaches. This includes re-evaluating current approaches and suggesting and/or implementing new ideas, looking into the future to create innovative and unconventional solutions, and working with others to generate multiple ideas. Assess and manage partnerships - creating opportunities to engage with relevant partners Express Technical Concepts to Non-Technical Audience - This includes thorough knowledge of the concepts being communicated, an ability to define key terms, an understanding of the audience's use of the information and an ability to anticipate and answer audience questions Program/Product Management - With limited oversight, manage programs from envisioning to planning to completion by facilitating meetings with internal and external project stakeholders and personnel; translating vision into test-ready Proofs of Concept (POCs) - Scope projects, develop and communicate objectives, timelines and goals with a clear vision of project objectives - Manage, control, and mitigate risks across multiple, projects by analyzing and identifying trigger events; establishing contingency plans; and influencing leadership to take action on these recommendations - Work to win the alignment, buy-in, and support of diverse project stakeholders by building and maintaining relationships with internal customers, and business leadership; influence prioritization of deliverables, and facilitate decision-making II. Education Qualification & Certifications (optional) Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Technology - Computer Science or related field and 6-9 years of project management experience OR 8-11 yrs comparable experience An MBA (or similar Masters) degree is preferable - Experienced in business development, marketing - Experience working with different stakeholders in the tech startup ecosystem is essential to this role. At least 1 year experience in a technology startup environment is a must have - 4-6 years of experience leading teams - 5+ years of experience working in a technology environment - 1+ years of experience implementing large, complex programs in a corporate environment
