Lowe's - Lead/Business Analyst - Financial Planning & Analysis Domain (6-10 yrs)
- The Lead Analyst, FP&A-BA, Canada should have knowledge and hands on experience to play the following role:
- Monitoring, analyze and report out business performance and financial results
- Contribute to Ideation and execution of projects
- Ensure 100% accuracy and timely analysis
- Enables business partners to make informed decisions based on root cause drivers of performance by working with functional partners to develop and maintain scorecards; analyzing and providing insights and performance analysis; creating MoS with input from functional partners by collecting and analyzing data; analyzing sensitivity of assumptions by developing scenarios
- Quickly grasps the business problem and translates into tangible, usable actionable outputs
- Work with team members to understand the business problem so as to conduct effective analysis to address various business requirements
- Pursues self-development and effective relationships with others by organizing resources and information; openly sharing information, advice, and expertise with coworkers and customers; influencing others through technical explanations and examples; seeking performance feedback; adapting to and learning from change, difficulties, and feedback
- Allocates, distributes and plans work with team members
Qualifications & Qualities:
- B.E or Post-graduate in a technical field or Finance
- 6+ years of experience
- Advanced Knowledge of Macros/VBA and other automation techniques
- Advanced querying skills using SQL/Python etc.
- Prior experience in financial data preferred
- Strong knowledge of advanced MS Excel/ MS Office
- Strong business acumen specifically Retail. Basic understanding of Finance preferred
- Strong data collection, collation and cleansing skills
- Strong business understanding and know-how
- Strong influencing abilities
- Strong liaisoning, project management, co-ordination, planning and facilitating skills
- Strong communication skills - being able to manage upward, peers and offshore teams. Being able to translate business requirements to actionable deliverables
