Lowe's - Lead Analyst - Store Operations Finance

The Lead Analyst, USHI, Store Ops/ Div Support should have knowledge and hands on experience in the following areas:

1.Contribute to a high-performance team that will build, monitor and report out business performance, financial results and adhoc projects for the US Store Operations/ Divisional Support business

2. Drive projects that provide answers to strategic and tactical business questions.

3. Lead, ideate, contribute to and ensure delivery and perfect execution of projects

4. Build robust processes to ensure 100% accuracy and timely analysis

5. Follow best practices towards building a state-of-the-art delivery organization

6. Work with business partners and others in SSC-B to constantly find opportunities, leverage commonalities and ensure proactive solution building and delivery

7. Knowledge of multiple approaches to tackle problems and having the intellect to use appropriate approach according to the situation

8. Financial modelling - Ability to build accurate and situational financial models to solve business problems

Qualifications & Qualities :

1. CA (equivalent of CPA) or MBA (Finance) or post-graduate in finance

2. 7+ years of experience with 3+ years in Financial Planning and Analysis

3. Prior experience in business finance and/or similar problem-solving role

4. Strong financial acumen specifically Retail finance. Having the ability to convert nomenclatures from finance into business and vice-versa.

5. Strong retail business understanding

6. Strong influencing abilities

7. Superior liaising, project management, co-ordination, planning and facilitating skills

8. Superior communication skills - being able to manage upward, peers and offshore teams. Being able to translate business requirements to actionable deliverables

9. Expert knowledge of advanced MS Excel/ MS Office

10. Knowledge of Macros/VBA and other automation techniques

11. Understanding/ querying using SAS/SQL would be added advantage
