Co-Founder and Head of BD, Partnerships, and Loan Operations in India

We are currently looking for a Co-Founder to lead our BD, Partnerships, and Loan Operations in India. This is our first major hire. This role requires a strategic, methodical & entrepreneurial spirited leader who will lead our Indian operations and execute the vision of our company.

As one of the leaders of the organization, your main responsibilities will include:

- Develop a business development and customer acquisition strategy to build brand awareness and excitement for our student lending product in India

- Develop partner relationships with institutes (Indian universities, lending marketplaces, overseas education counsellors, visa consultants etc.) for lead generation

- Collaboratively work with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Credit and Legal & Compliance to establish, launch, and grow new partnerships

- Demonstrate a strong understanding of the competitive landscape in financial services and financial online marketplaces

- Effectively and confidently pitch Lorien products to prospective marketing partners
