Director Operations:

Job Description:

- Lords Institute of Engineering & Technology is an Institution of repute in India. The college is approved by AICTE, affiliated to JNTUH, accredited by NBA and awarded A Grade by NAAC. The college currently has around 2500 students on rolls and they are pursuing various courses across the fields of Engineering & Management. The college has a total staff of about 300 who are involved in serving the student community. The college is in the process of being Autonomous by UGC.

- Keeping the future plan in mind, the Management plans to revamp the current administrative setup in the organization. Various initiatives have been taken and are planned for smooth running of the organization. As a Director for Administration, the following would be your roles and responsibilities that you will need to carry out in coordination with the Management and Principal. These responsibilities are being carried out with a few people and you are expected to monitor them and ensure effective delivery.

Faculty :

- You will be responsible for the well being and discipline among the staff of the institution

- You shall monitor the payrolls and daily attendance of the staff.

- Ensure proper record keeping and approvals of all faculty as per the norms of AICTE and JNTUH

- All faculty requests must be brought forward to the Management through the Director of Administration or the Principal

- Ensuring the norms of faculty are maintained as per AICTE & JNTUH

- Coordinate all the Recruitment activity of hiring

- Salary increments to be monitored and recommendations to be passed onto the management based on Principal and other senior staff recommendations

Students:

- Timely processing of student requests in coordination with all stakeholders

- Fee collections in the form of DD

- Cash collections and receipts for all other transactions

- Ensure the implementation of E-cap software; All attendance and student details to be made online

- Monitor the student attendance and the calls made on a regular basis

Campus Maintenance:

- Responsible for all campus maintenance

- Timely payment of various bills and clearance of all bills

Inventory Management:

- Responsible for stock keeping and Inventory Management of the entire institution

- Regular audits need to be conducted

Accounts:

- Report the utilization of funds on a regular basis

- Audit for the amount sanctioned to be managed

Events/Activity:

- Ensure smooth running of all activities on campus

- Audit the expenditure incurred and maintain appropriate records

- Plan and get the budget approvals for all events and activities

Marketing:

- Expected to deliver lectures as and when required at various places

- Coordinate with Brand Consultants and PR consultants for appropriate publicity of any activity or significant achievement.

- Ensure the website and all social media platforms are updated on a regular basis

- Ensure regular press releases are done for various activities done on campus

In addition to all this, the Management and other college stakeholders will expect you to follow up on any of their decisions or initiatives. You shall report to Principal and Management. You will be handling the team of admin staff already working on the above tasks and ensuring optimum usage of time.

Would prefer a candidate from Engineering and Management background.
