JOB TITLE: Regional Sales Manager
LOCATION: Mumbai
REPORTS TO: Managing Director
PURPOSE:
- The most important objective of this role is to meet company's sales/ revenue targets with the activities of sales team. In other words, driving sales force productivity and extracting the best performance from each individual sales representative.
- This role would be completely responsible and accountable for achieving its own as well as its team sales target.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Post-graduate or equivalent degree in business, marketing, or a related area
- 8+ years of experience in Sales and/or New Business Development
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills at all levels of the organization.
- Strong project management skills
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Strong leadership abilities
- Excellent organizational and decision-making skills
PRIMARY JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Entirely responsible for meeting the overall targets under Sales, Marketing and Sales Administrative functions and Servicing Key Accounts.
- Consistently communicates with team members. Delegates tasks to team members such that work progresses smoothly in the assigned segment / territories.
- Trains all sales representatives on the company policies & procedures, products, customer segmentation, and relevant documentation so that they are capable enough to handle their responsibilities independently.
- To regularly follow the recovery of outstanding payments, especially disputed and chronic payments, and ensure that the receipt of the payments should be as per the company policies and in time.
- You have to plan and prepare sales forecast to be presented at higher authorities. Prepare sales presentation as per guideline given by the company for monthly and quarterly review meetings.
- To guide and motivate Sales team and upgrade their sales and technical knowledge with current trends to make them more efficient and effective.
- Keep a close track with the inventory and dispatch sections for timely supply.
- To ensure that all the sales and marketing related documents, reports, formats are timely prepared and recorded properly in order to get proper control on sales administration.
- Conduct daily / weekly / monthly meetings with subordinates and relevant departments to maintain smooth flow of work.
