JOB TITLE: Assistant Manager Sourcing


LOCATION: Mumbai, India


REPORTS TO: Senior Sourcing Manager Loparex India


Purpose:


- Handling CAPEX / Indirect Purchases with strong techno commercial knowledge.


- To be effective communicator possessing strong Integrative & Strategic Management; Negotiations, Technical, Analytical and Organizational skills to achieve overall profitability


JOB SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, & KNOWLEDGE:


REQUIREMENTS:


- 3-5 years of results-oriented experience in relevant field, experience in imports/exports/quality assurance department will be added advantage


- Self-starter; requires independent planning and allocation of company resources


- Leadership ; Strong influencing, negotiation skills needed to manage vendors and across functional teams and decision making.


- Job requires good interpersonal skills, communication skills, analytical skills


- Knowledge of SAP Material Management (MM); Microsoft Office Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Word.


- Knowledge of Smart sheet, Project management tools, exposure of placing orders

on SAP/S4 HANA, Apriso MES System will be preferred


- Required Educational background of Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical/ Electronics, Diploma / PGDBM in Supply chain will be added advantage


- Good Technical/Computer Skills like MS office 9specially MS Excel, MS-PowerPoint


PRIMARY JOB:


DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:


- Handling procurement of all MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Overhauling supplies) & Project related technical products & spares ; Electrical, Mechanical, Instrumentation & Industrial Automation.


- Responsible for procuring RM, Packaging Materials, Capex and Consumable items etc.


- Tracking of Indents from various department and Procuring material in time


- Evaluating PR (Purchase Requisition), Reviewing & prioritizing the material requisitions.


- Liaising with various dept. HODs for understanding & finalization of technical specifications.


- E-sourcing; Floating RFIs & RFQs to probable vendors from web portal (RFx) & soliciting quotations on time-bound basis.


- Maintenance of RFQs in SAP. Techno commercial analysis & comparison of the supplier offers. Price & Technical Negotiations with vendors.


- Capital item purchase- Local & Import.


- Tracking of Indents from various department and Procuring material in time


- Vendor evaluation, audits, appraisal & development. Review of vendor facilities and alternate sourcing.


- Ensuring vendor adherence to supplier charter.


- Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) web tool.


- Generating purchase orders (PO) in SAP from PR. Preparing monthly MIS report of the total orders generated, PR-to-PO cycle time, Total Savings achieved, Open POs, orders closed.


- Responsible for complete P-to-P cycle.


- Finalizing ARC (Annual rate contract) for regular MRO items. Preparation of contracts for delegated suppliers.


- Creating visibility of MRO & Project (Capex & Opex) spend in plant.


- Posting the monthly ppm savings.


- Achieve cost savings versus target.


- Ensuring timely delivery of MRO, Project related items to plant.


- Ensuring minimum inventory level for MRO items through min-max system & KANBAN.


SECONDARY JOB:


DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:


- Studying the RFQ- Tender document, Techno-commercial compliance, LOA, Contract Agreement- Terms & Conditions.


- Understanding the requirements of the project, coordinating with projects & design departments.


- Soliciting quotations & technical literature from suppliers; Preparing comparative statement of the suppliers techno-commercial offers.


- Material Planning, Shortlisting Vendors, Negotiations with the vendors, PO placement & follow up, Ensuring suppliers adherence to stipulated delivery lead time & quality, Logistics, Vendor appraisal.


- Coordination with CHA for clearing materials


- Preparing monthly GPIS and reporting to the Management
