Loktantra Mediatech is a start-up in the social media space that plans to tap the true potential of the vast Social Network through - conversations Currently, the social media space is filled with platforms from the 1st Generation products that primarily aimed at creating Social Networks through sharing of Status and Comments. Essentially, they were meant for limited networking and not full-fledged, in-depth, time-bound, focused, meaningful and moderated conversations. While in recent times there have been some exciting attempts at introducing conversations-based approaches and people have welcomed it, yet from our vantage point of having been avid social media users, the offering is inadequate and wanting. With this view, we have already developed an exciting conversational feature that is universally unique and aims to achieve a 360 degrees Conversation Experience. The project is well-funded by one of the most premium institutions in the field of investing, in fact, the key persons are considered an institution in themselves amongst the Investor Community in India. The product is expected to be soft-launched in the month of October, and in preparation of that the company is looking at expanding the team. Responsibilities as a CTO: 1. Innovative and first principle thinker, driven to achieve moon-shot goals 2. Build and prioritize the product backlog and align all stakeholders with strong cross-functional collaboration 3. Big on dog-fooding, should have deep experience (as a user) and understanding of social media platforms 4. Data driven decision making is a must, should be able to define, measure and improve key product objectives Criteria 1. Successfully launched and scaled an innovative product 2. Extremely loyal advocate and practitioner of agile methodology, proficient in JIRA and allied tools 3. Ability to translate broader vision to detailed product features that help deliver core value and scale 4. Excellent knowledge of UX practices and experience in running design sprints 5. Preferably IIT and/or IIM
