Lohono - Vice President - Home Acquisition

Job Summary:

To take overall responsibility and accountability for the Home Acquisition (New Home Sourcing Strategy). In line with the Lohono brand it is the responsibility of the Home Acquisition Head to research, analyze and chart out activities for acquiring additional properties and expansion to new geographies. It is a highly target driven role, and the candidate will need to be able to work under pressure and come up with innovative solutions to various business challenges. The role involves managing and building a team of hard working and highly intelligent individuals and reports directly into senior leadership and management.

Number of years 10+ Years of which 4+ must be in a team management role

Key Responsibilities and Deliverables:

Development and Implementation of Home Acquisition Strategies

- Acquire new homes

- Drive the geographical expansion strategy for Lohono

- Build commercial models that allow Lohono to maximize its revenue in every market

- Competitive Analysis, Understanding the Customer, Product Development, Client Relationships

- Build and drive the processes for the entire function

Budgeting & Planning

- Creating and maintaining budgets for the Home Acquisition team

- Ensuring team goals flow into the budgets and can be monitored in a regular basis

- Create checks and balances to enquire targets and budgets are never out of sight

Effective Self-Management

- Follow through to ensure that personal quality and productivity standards are consistently and accurately maintained

- Demonstrate consistent application of internal procedures

- Plan and prioritize, demonstrating abilities to manage competing demands
