Job Description: Head Logistics is responsible for providing overall leadership to the logistics / warehousing / planning team for our 3PL business.This is a highly hands-on job, involving project management, multi team coordination and deep functional and technical knowledge of all areas of logistics and warehouse. For this role, we need someone who has the experience of working in a fast growth, multi-unit environment, direct to customer shipments, e-commerce business from delivery and warehousing purpose. What Head Logistics will do ? - Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer services - Responsible for building the strategic delivery model that will effectively cover the company's current and projected markets and business models - Evaluating new technologies for streamlining supply chain / logistics processes. - Collaborate with product team to drive system and operational improvements that will improve delivery efficiencies and result in lower cost per delivery goals in each segment. - Responsible for putting together and leading third-party partnerships to augment internal logistics capacity to handle surges production capacity, sales, or demand - Responsible for directing, training, and workforce management for the logistics department or organization - Leverage on category management concept and industry analytics to source and secure Transportation and Warehousing Services, ensuring capacity to meet region requirements - Meet cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets - Comply with laws, regulations and ISO requirements - Manages stock control and ensure that inventory records are accurate. Experience required for head logistics: - Bachelor's degree required. MBA is preferred - Minimum of 10+ years of experience within Supply Chain and Logistics operations. Minimum of 3 years of experience at senior (leadership level) is required. - Experience of E Commerce and D2C operations . - Supplier/vendor management experience in 3PL environment - Excellent organizational, leadership, analytical problem solving and strategic thinking skills - Ability to build cross-functional partnerships and engage in and lead cross-functional teams and initiatives - Demonstrated negotiation, vendor management and leadership skills - High integrity with zero tolerance for any unethical business practices - Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with dynamic priorities and demands
