Your role as 'VP - Corporate HR' is to centrally own the core areas of Employee Relations Management. As part of this you will lead the strategy for HR Communication, Policies and Compliance, Compensation and Benefits, HRIT and Exit Management for the entire associate base at Lodha Group. Along with this, you will be the custodian of all personnel data such that confidentiality, compliance and data security becomes your responsibility. You will be supported by a team of specialists in each of these areas. As a member of the senior leadership team at Lodha, you are also expected to contribute significantly to the overall people strategy, organizational culture agendas and brand building initiatives. Reporting to: President - HR Key Responsibilities : HR Leadership and Culture: - Part of the core leadership team that drives the desired culture and change in line with Lodha Group's vision - As a Head of Cell (HoC), be responsible for the performance, growth and impact of the Corporate HR team Compensation and Benefits: - Partner with the business/ functional leaders to strengthen the compensation strategy for associates - Define C&B policies and Pay Bands to ensure job offers are both based on market value and have internal equity - Build bonus structures including ESOPs, retirement plans, health insurance and various other benefits Lead and drive HRIT solutions : - Align, secure and foster the use of systems in HR. Secure foundation of data for reporting and analytics. - Continually focus on optimizing the available digital platforms to towards a shared service solution - As the process owner, strive for improvements, higher quality and lower cost service delivery to the business - Centrally own HR policies along with Audit and Labor Law Compliances - Create and manage an overall framework for all employment related practices, contracts and terms - Collaborate with senior management/ HoD/ PDs to understand business requirements and align HR policies accordingly - Ensure policies set down for the management of associates are legally and practically sound - Ensure that policies do not contradict or compromise each other and are communicated effectively throughout the company to all associates who need to follow them on a day-to-day basis (across sites/ geographies) - Support the senior management to focus on and prioritize matters of Corporate Social Responsibility, ESG and the DEI roadmap and programs. Take active part in aligning resources and plans for effective implementation on these areas. Employment Contracts and Associate Database: - Own the central repository of associate's employment records and personal information throughout the employee lifecycle, ensuring accuracy and data security - Analyze and provide inputs/ insights/ trends to other HR Cells to enhance their talent decision/ practices/ policies - Utilize this information about our past and current associates towards making better HR decisions Employee Off-boarding : - Centrally own the complete exit management process for all associates (resignations, retirement, contractual, involuntary) including related compliance and settlements - Track talent attrition and provide inputs on turnover cost, associate feedback/ insights and ORM - Provide inputs on rehiring associates and ensure compliance on this as per set hiring policies
