Job Summary

Responsible for conceptualizing, organizing, promoting, managing events i.e end to end handling all or some of the responsibilities mentioned below while working with timelines and budgets

Primary responsibilities

Conceptualize events that can add value to the company / brand and deliver revenues

Calculate budgets and adjust when necessary.

Book venues and negotiate fees, close deals while ensuring client and company interests

Prepare invitations and send out at appropriate time.

Hire relevant partners to ensure quality delivery / execution of events by leveraging connects, optimal resources and within timelines and budgets

Work on Marketing Promotions, Strategies to Drive attendance to the event

Leverage all channels including and not restricted to social media, ATL, BTL, affinity programs, WOM initiatives to get desired attendance, visibility, coverage

Analyze event performance and prepare metrics presentation.

Define company brand through events.

Pay vendors for their participation in the event.

Own the end to end responsibility and work with client / clients to ensure success and garner repeat business through networking / reputation built on trust, ability to deliver experiences, deliver on satisfaction while ensuring positive ROI for the company

Additional Points

Will require travel

The candidate should have a good network of established connects in the entertainment / hospitality industry and should be able to demonstrate the responsibilities sought above in his / her previous experience

Connects with the Media is desired but not mandatory

Must have a street smart attitude and approach to work in an unorganized environment, ability to decisions with limited information, optimal time management and excellent PR / client relationship

Must be comfortable working with staff / people and partners across spectrum from the blue collars to executives to management leaders and be able to stand his / her own during interactions

Ability to take lead and self initiative to deliver and exceed on the expectations set out

Above all work in an ethical, professional manner
