The Role - Help build a market leading credit and risk team with excellent portfolio performance - Work with technologists to help build a world leading credit underwriting and monitoring platform - Help with business cases for market expansion, including geography, sector and product - Develop, validate, monitor and improve credit models across client segments from scratch - Create policies to lend across geographies, sectors, products and customer profiles that leverage technology and automation for highly accurate credit decisioning - Analyse credit portfolio performance leveraging analytics and identify opportunities for improved underwriting criteria and pricing - Work very closely with company founders The Ideal Candidate - Extensive and deep experience in pan-India MSME credit underwriting, preferably supply chain finance and/or small ticket MSME lending - Strong experience and was a key contributor during the rapid growth of a successful NBFC or bank - Strong technology acumen with respect to evolving digitalization in the financial services sector and previous experience with technology enabled credit assessment - Demonstrates strong process orientation, innovativeness and perseverance - Experience with machine learning and artificial intelligence would be preferable - Excellent communication Skills - Excellent career track record - A Chartered Accountant, Bachelors or Masters degree from a tier I institution
