JD - AD - New Initiatives (Supply) Context on LoadShare : LoadShare is a new-age logistics platform that provides intracity (last mile) and intercity (PTL, FTL) services, based in Bengaluru, with operations pan India. - Scale: 2.5 Lakh+ orders per day for the top e-commerce majors like Flipkart, Amazon, Meesho, Swiggy, Zomato, JioMart, etc. - Tech: Proprietary tech platform which is API integrated with our clients for real time shipment visibility through a self serve platform - Management team: Founding team comprises Raghuram Talluri (CEO, previously Myntra, McKinsey); Pramod Nair (CTO, previously head of engineering at Freecharge); Rakib Ahmed (head of Operations, previously ICICI Prudential). Core team has strong background in technology, operations & business development - Financially robust: FY 22 revenue of INR 360 Cr, poised to grow 2X YoY in FY 23. Backed by well known VC firms (Tiger Global, Matrix, CDC, Stellaris, Beenext) Context on the Role: The Central Supply team is responsible for onboarding new riders to LoadShare's existing fleet of 13,000+ riders. As of today, the primary channels for sourcing are field recruiters who source gig workers through on ground activations and a referral program. The Associate Director for New Initiatives would be responsible for expanding the pool of applicants through 4 sources 1. Self sign up (through improved branding amongst the rider community) 2. Social media influencers 3. Vendor channels & partnerships 4. New sources of supply (rural migrant workers, women fleet) Another major challenge currently faced by us is high attrition in the rider fleet due to strong competition for last mile riders from the premier ecommerce, food tech and quick commerce companies. The Associate Director for New Initiatives would also be responsible to implement ideas to increase our value proposition to riders and hence improve retention. Education: B. Tech / MBA from a premier college is preferred (IIT, IIM, SRCC, etc.) Work Experience: - 1-3 years of experience in Growth or Operations roles in a fast-growing start up, or 1-3 years of experience in an Operations role in a top MNC such as ITC, P&G, Aditya Birla, Schlumberger etc., or - 1-3 years of experience in a top tier Consulting firm Skills Needed: - Strong first principles problem solving - Ownership and hustle - Integrity and intellectual honesty - Bias for action - Willingness to get one's hands dirty Location: Bengaluru
