Roles and Responsibilities: - Drafting and reviewing agreements, policies and standard operating processes relating to, amongst others, manufacturing, procurement, logistics, services, marketing, advertising, IT, real estate. Prior experience in Singapore or Malaysia geographies is a plus. - Thorough understanding of contract management and overall risk assessment/mitigation strategies. - Minimize risk and ensure compliance with company policies, laws, and regulations- - Proactively provide legal opinion as needed, conduct legal research and where necessary, work with outside counsel for advice on complex matters and local laws/regulations - Support Legal Counsel on strategic legal advice and process improvement - Legal support of / collaboration with finance / tax teams and other functional in-house stakeholders on intercompany transactions, projects, and contentious matters. - Liaison with counsels on litigation management Skills Required : - 5-6 year of prior experience working as a Contract Compliance and Legal Officer or a similar role. - Should have exposure to handling corporate legal matters and hands-on experience drafting various kinds of legal agreements/ business contracts - Excellent oral and written communication. - Strong organization and analytical skills. Attention to detail - Ideal candidate is highly flexible, proactive, comfortable with large amounts of information and documentation, adept at managing expectations, and able to set and adjust priorities as needed while working with internal organizations as well as customers. - LLB is a must
