Position -Business Finance Partner /Manager

Role requirement

- Acts as a running source of truth for numbers - Key financial metrics and performance drivers

- Develop financial and demand plans along with the category, operations and marketing teams, with great rigor on bottoms-up approach. Focus on making an accurate and low risk plans with consistent and adequately detailed lists.

- Is able to present clear reconciliation of P&L line items (plan vs actual) and ensures clear call outs are shown for effective understanding

- Tracking of sales performance against set targets and provide periodical updates to business

- Provide daily/ weekly updates/ flash to the biz teams and management on the progress. Prepare financial information & analysis for business reviews / presentations with key highlights

- Actively engage and participate to work closely with the Controller Org. Able to bring closure with accurate reconciliation between Management MIS and Org P&L. Publish the monthly P&L to both the biz team and the management

- Review the in depth analysis of deviation matrix and communicating the same proactively creating right visibility and enabling planning of actionable

- Engage consistently with various internal and external teams/ partners to drive lower costs

- Develop deep understanding of the numerous variables driving business and leverage those to create multiple views for creating actionable plans for the biz teams

- Handle complex and adhoc requests with a short turnaround time, and supplement such requests with appropriate analysis and comments to support quick decision making

- Lead/ participate and actively drive standardization & automation projects with the relevant Product/ Tech teams for process and execution efficiency

- Lead the strategic aspects of the annual/half yearly/quarterly operating plan and budget process for the company. Support the strategic business planning process. Monitor competitive dynamics of the sectors

- Prepare presentations in support of board and stakeholder meetings, monthly/quarterly senior leadership meetings and various strategic committees of the company.

Must-haves

- Sound knowledge of financial statements and taxation principles

- CA/MBA and related-field experience of 2-4 years

- Strong communication, analytical, collaboration/ team-player and inter-personal skills

- Should be able to seamlessly coordinate with different teams and work with them effectively to drive the business agenda

- Proactive, owns and drives initiatives to closure, and self-motivated

- Strong Financial modelling and Power-point skills

- Experience with E-Commerce would be preferred

- Continuous improvement attitude and fast learning ability

- Heavy stakeholder management experience. This role requires a lot of cross functional working and engagement with senior leaders
