Brand Manager


Job Purpose : Support the Brand Marketing Head to help effectively execute brand strategy and work closely with the agency. The incumbent is expected to drive a synergistic approach across all brand assets viz. ATL, BTL, product packaging, internal communication etc. Proven experience in working with consumer facing brands and an understanding of media in terms of executing campaign release is essential.


Primary Job Responsibilities :

- Support Brand Marketing Lead to develop the Marketing Strategy and Planning

- Build brand activation activities as part of integrated comms. strategy

- Market Insight - Gathering and analyzing the right data to develop market insights on market, brand and competitor performance using internal sales data and regular visits to the market

- Responsible for monthly tracking and reporting, including liaising with Regional Sales Managers to understand key drivers behind performance

- Close contact with cross functional team: Trade Marketing, Finance, R&D, and Sales team as well as advertising and media agencies

- Manage special events such as sponsorships, new product launch, or other activities

- Manage all internal communication & corporate communication related tasks end to end

- Experience in handling and working with agencies to ensure seamless day to day operations

- Financial /keeping track of budget and reporting

- Identify new opportunities for brand/segment promotion

- Work closely with product marketing on monthly /quarterly segment marketing plans

Skill Sets :

Functional :

- Proven experience with ATL communication development, corporate communication including agency briefing and management, and development and execution of media plans.

- Clear understanding of the market and brand context and identifying the underlying causes and link to business goals and marketing objectives.

- Brand Building: Understand and support the process to develop the brand positioning as well as the activities to bring the positioning to life.

- Connect with consumers: Understand the purchase process and the role of different touch points. Fluent in defining the rollout plan and promotional activities
