LiquiLoans - Senior Data Scientist

This is an opening for Senior Data Scientist at Liquiloans, a well capitalized lending NBFC. We use cutting edge data analytics to make business decisions and are looking to onboard a high capability and hands on data scientist to work on the next generation data science problems.

Role: Senior Data Scientist

1. The ideal candidate for this role should have a thorough hands-on grounding in statistics, machine learning and programming

2. The ideal candidate should be able to evaluate several options for variety of prediction tasks independently and turn business requirements into modelling recommendations. This will involve :

a. Brainstorming along the relevant modelling criterion

b. Model creation/evaluation

c. Model deployment

d. Model implementation

e. End to end data science pipeline integration

3. The candidate should possess -

a. Knowledge of a wide array of generally used models in regression/classification - such as Decision Trees, GLM/GAM, Random Forests, SVM, Boosting/Bagging techniques etc.

b. Knowledge and implementation skills of both - supervised/unsupervised learning.

c. Knowledge of relevant underlying mathematical constructs

4. Strong knowledge in programming

5. The candidate should be able to collaborate effectively with a wide team of business analysis and senior business stakeholders to drive at recommendations of what is to be modeled, how it is to be modeled and the develop clear view of the end to end data science pipeline for achieving the task.

Education Qualification: Graduate/Post-graduation in Engineering/ Computer Science/ Mathematics.
