Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced VP/AVP - Credit who will be responsible for credit underwriting, risk assessment, and decision-making for large-ticket size transactions. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of the investment market and experience in underwriting for large NBFCs.

Key Responsibilities:

- Credit Underwriting & Risk Assessment: Evaluate and approve high-value loan applications, ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal credit policies.

- Investment Market Expertise: Analyze financial statements, market trends, and borrower risk profiles to make informed credit decisions.

- Portfolio Management: Monitor credit portfolios to identify potential risks and ensure financial stability.

- Policy & Process Enhancement: Develop and refine underwriting policies to align with industry best practices.

- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal teams, investors, and key stakeholders for smooth credit operations.

- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all credit approvals adhere to RBI and NBFC regulations.

Key Requirements:

- Experience: Minimum 5+ years in Credit Underwriting, preferably in an NBFC or investment firm.

- Expertise: Strong knowledge of financial analysis, risk assessment, and investment market dynamics.

- Large-Ticket Size Underwriting: Hands-on experience in managing and underwriting high-value credit proposals.

- Analytical Skills: Ability to assess financial risks and make data-driven credit decisions.

- Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of NBFC lending norms, compliance requirements, and risk mitigation strategies.

- Leadership: Experience in managing teams and driving credit-related strategies.
