Linedata - Associate/Senior Analyst - Investment Research

Responsibilities

- Provide investment research support to global asset managers investing in both equity and credit instruments

- Identify and analyze macro and thematic trends globally and prepare thematic reports

- Analyze and provide relevant market commentary, major assumptions, and multiples behind price targets for major global indices by sell-side firms

- Initiate/maintain client specific deliverables, such as economic models, screeners, research notes, newsletters, etc.

- Prioritize and execute multiple assignments including adhoc assignment within tight deadlines

- Review work of junior analysts

- Ensure adherence to high quality standards and industry best practices

Skills Required

- Sound experience in fundamental investment research, economic research, industry analysis (4-6 years)

- Exposure to US/European capital markets

- Experience in writing reports and making presentations

- Strong excel modelling and analytical skills with attention to detail

- Ability to independently execute assignments under tight deadlines

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Team player with professional demeanour

Advantageous Skills

- Knowledge of third-party databases such as Bloomberg, CapIQ, Thomson Reuters, etc.

- Sectoral expertise

- Prior experience of authoring white papers and articles

Academic Requirements

- MBA or equivalent qualification in finance from a reputed institution / CFA
