The team follows an on-shore/off-shore model of delivery for Middle East and India business and consists of people with expertise in Retail Analytics, Product Development, solving problems across (not limited to) Loyalty Management, Inventory Management, Assortment Planning, End to End Supply Chain, Pricing, etc. About the Role : The Senior Product Analyst at LMG DLL - Product Management is a part of the Product Team and works closely with the Product Managers to lead and deep dive into problems across multiple products and present data driven insights for improving product performance, usage and aid in strategic decision making. The candidate will be required to lead in developing product roadmaps, product related documents, execute analytics POCs and develop / maintain product centric dashboards Responsibilities : - Define metrics, drive roadmaps, and uncover opportunities to improve our products - Have a strong bias towards action, enjoy finding patterns amidst chaos, and have demonstrated success in using analytics to drive business impact - Has the technical skills to surface insights quickly, and the interpersonal skills to communicate those insights in a way that persuades action - Participate in testing of product releases to ensure that the requirements were interpreted correctly - Support implementation of functional and backend enhancements on the sites, including performing user acceptance testing and vetting business requirements against industry best practices - Own the monitoring of business metrics, product/launch performance and report it to stakeholders - Interpret data, analyze results using analytics, research methodologies, and statistical techniques. - Provide data driven insights and deliver recommendations that address opportunities for product improvements. Work with complex and large volume of analytics data to understand trends, behaviors and correlations - Use statistical methods to generate and test hypotheses. This includes: Performing analytical deep-dives to identify problems, opportunities and actions required; Collecting, processing, and cleaning data from disparate sources using SQL, R, Python, or other scripting and statistical tools - Managing the design, execution, and analysis of A/B tests; driving rigor and testing culture through product teams - Build compelling data visualizations, including dashboards, for both internal and external consumption - Perform exploratory data analysis to define product improvement features that can drive business value - Expert domain knowledge of the product/function with a clear data-driven understanding of how our users interact with our product - Led and execute analytics POCs across various retail functions as part of product strategy and roadmap process. These POCs to aid in developing end to end product Skills / Experience : - Required 5-7 years of experience in a product management capacity in managing Software Product. - Should have hands-on experience on using GIT methods to productionize the pipeline - Should have experience in product management in the software industry like SAP, Oracle, Microsoft with focus on digitalization of businesses. - Understanding of digital product management in Retail domain should be preferred - Solid presentation skills and fluency in English, both written and spoken. - Analytical thinking, problem-solving, and a high level of comfort with numbers. - Intermediate foundations in statistical techniques [Regression, Random Forest, Decision Trees, Clustering, Optimization] - Fetching and manipulating large data sets using SQL / Hive / Pyspark. - Analyzing and visualizing large data sets: R / python. - Basics to intermediate knowledge of application development through Flask/Django, Cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, GCP, Big Data Platforms and server less computing - A keen sense of business and attention to detail - Understanding and being sensitive to the needs and challenges of both internal / external stakeholders.
