Analytics Team Introduction: - Landmark Analytics Centre of Excellence was established in 2015 and is a key function to aid the different businesses of Landmark Group in both overall strategy and intelligent data driven decision making. - The team has seen immense growth in the last two years expanding from a team of 2 people in 2015 to 45 members globally (Dubai & Bangalore). The team follows an on-shore/ off-shore model of delivery and consists of people with expertise in Retail Analytics & Product Development, solving problems not limited to Inventory Management, Assortment Planning, End to End Supply Chain & Pricing. Description : - The role involves full stack application development involving designing, developing, handling deployments and future support. - The goal is to create an impact by building tech-savvy application layer over existing solutions to enhance their utility/interaction with the overall business. Position to work in Data Labs, Landmark Group (India office) of one of the largest retail conglomerates across the Middle East, Africa and the Indian Subcontinent with a diverse portfolio of retail and hospitality brands Roles & Responsibilities : - Scope out the application development need for given problem statement, assess solution options and define application architecture that both achieve strategic business goals and meet operational requirements - Build custom application using the newest technologies and tools in an agile environment - Manage and build efficient data pipelines ensuring fault tolerance and minimal breakdown. - Work with platform engineering team to define system requirements and other resources to develop and host custom application - Openly communicate with all the stakeholders. Timely communication on status & issues - Ensure knowledge management within team by conducting trainings and robust documentation - Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders and team members to derive value outcomes - Ability to manage development / production environments and code repository - Scope out financial and ROI implications of development roadmaps and suggest changes Desired Experience & Skills : - 6+ years of experience in application development - Relevant degree in computer science - Web Frontend : CSS (bootstrapping), jQuery, frameworks: angular/react, D3 js - Web Backend : Python, Django/Django Rest, Flask, Rabbit MQ, Postgres/MySQL, Unix Scripting - Should be skilled in one of the IDEs like PyCharm etc. - Should have knowledge of code management and deployment using GIT and Jenkins - Microservices implementation, Elastic Stack, Redis - Exposure to working with cloud infrastructure like Azure - Knowledge of Spark, Big Data tools would be a plus
