Department Group Accounts Grade A61 / M1 Education CA Qualified / CWA Qualified / CA Inter Designation: Asst Manager / Manager Location Corporate Experience: 4 - 6 years of relevant experience (For Qualified CA / CWA - 4 years experience, for CA inter qualified candidates - &gt; 6 years experience) Role Summary Manage end to end accounting and reporting of fixed assets for all Landmark Group companies Key Job Responsibilities Capitalization and depreciation accounting - Manage capex accounting for Landmark group companies in India - Review the asset capitalization to ensure compliance in line with accounting standards, Ind AS, Companies Act and as per defined internal SOPs. - Reconcile sub ledgers in the ERP (fixed assets to GL) as per defined timelines - Manage the accounting of monthly depreciation and post in financial records and reconcile the same with Fixed asset register - Ensure assets are moved with ATF / ADF and proper GST invoices raised and accounted in the books. - Work with the commercial team for physical verification of fixed assets and reconcile with books of accounts - Reconciliation of Fixed Asset register (FAR I) with Fixed asset inventory register (FAR II) - Work with IT team for automation of fixed asset movement tracking and accounting on periodic basis - Review SOPs and checklists relating to fixed asset accounting on periodic basis, recommend necessary changes and take required actions in consultation with relevant stake holders - Work with IT and tax teams to update ERP with the latest tax amendments - Providing Fixed asset schedule to tax team on quarterly basis for Advance tax computations. - Support tax team during Tax audit and provide Fixed Asset schedule as per income tax act. MIS and Reporting - Review preparation of monthly schedules and ageing reports and share with relevant stake holders for taking corrective actions - Scrutinize the ledger accounts, identify risks and report the same - Prepare and publish dash boards to the relevant stakeholders as per defined timelines - Perform reconciliation between FAR II and FAR 1 - Publish FAR reports to stakeholders on monthly basis Audit - Provide support for the completion of all internal and statutory audits and take required actions to address issues arising from the audits - Support for Tax audit and tax assessments People Management - Select the right team members - Set expectations and give regular feedback to team - Provide adequate support and motivate the team to deliver on the job - Guide, coach, train and develop the team
