Responsibilities :

- Category Growth & Profitability: Responsible for the overall strategy of the product/service category, driving business growth and achieving volume and revenue targets for the category. Should have a view of and drive towards growing the category profitably keeping in mind the consumer and competition.

- Understand the category in depth to oversee value creation and research the product/services category basis the need of the customers and market analysis

- Conduct detailed spend analysis and bench-marking, evaluate market and competitive conditions and use as a basis to create data based Category strategies and sourcing activities

- Marketing promotions: Should drive visibility plans, promotion plans and coordinate the same between the internal marketing teams. Oversee communication development and the creation and execution of marketing, promotion and merchandising plans for the different categories

- Cross-Functional Capabilities: Should be able to fruitfully coordinate with sales, marketing, supply chain, import, finance/commercial and other functions of the organization.

- Drive key vendor relationship for the category, identifying strategic partners and negotiating better terms of trade and deals for customers

- Inventory Management: Inventory health metrics (STR - Full season/Fresh, ROS per day, Stock Cover, Core inventory Share%, Etc)

- Ownership of all category specific marketing activities both on the demand and supply side

- Grow revenues and customer/driver base across the category

Desired Skills :

- Min 3 years of relevant experience

- Extremely passionate about creating value and making a strong impact

- Outstanding with numbers and business acumen. Able to a grow category to INR 100 Million in 1 year

- Good MS office (Excel, power point, etc) skills if not advanced

- Good understanding of e-commerce
