At Licious, we are on the mission to reimagine the food value chain in India and rebuild it via technology adoption and innovation in every aspect. Access to safe, healthy, high-quality and tasty food is basic human need and our farm-to-fork model allows us to do so in a scalable way without compromising on the quality of food. As a product owner for a new initiative, you will be expected to dive deep into various aspects of the initiative, understand customer's stated and latent needs, create specs for technology products and systems and work deeply with various stakeholders like tech, business, ops to get it done. You will also define and own all the success metrics for these products. This individual will be working closely with Licious founders as well for bootstrapping these new initiatives till they become part of BAU.

An ideal candidate for us would be someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys the challenge of complex business contexts that are typically being defined in real-time, and will be a passionate builder of products and technology platforms. Looking for an ace problem solver who understands nuances of business, operations and technology, is highly entrepreneurial, energetic and data driven. He/she must have a strong sense of product ownership and drive, coupled with a strong passion for innovation. He/she must be a thought leader and passionate about building next gen products.

Responsibilities :

- Build and evangelize the long term compelling vision for the product in the chosen area

- Define, iterate and refine the product strategy till a product/market fit is achieved

- Understand the customer's stated as well as latent needs and incorporate them into product strategy

- Design products that deliver a useful, usable and delightful experience to the customers

- Leverage analytics to make data driven decisions for product iterations

- Work with cross functional teams to come up with execution plan for the product and act as a product owner during the build process to ensure its always moving in the right direction and at right pace

- Drive day today improvements in the product as well as ideate and iterate on long term capabilities

- Stay abreast of new technologies and innovations in the chosen area, including competitive landscape and benchmarking

Desired Skills/ Competencies:

- Great problem solving skills

- Proven ability to build products from scratch in any domain

- Ability to dive deep and drive data driven decision making

- Great analytical skills including exposure to various data modelling and analytics techniques

- Ability to develop great customer empathy and method so understand their problems deeply and then working backwards from it to solve those problems with technology

- Ability to build, evangelize and execute on a long term product strategy

- Good written and verbal communication skills

- Ability to work with and manage large number of stakeholders, including external stakeholders

- Ability to influence without authority

- Understanding of agile software development methodologies

- Experience of working with engineering teams

- Experience in the eCommerce domain will be a huge positive

- Basic understanding of non-functional requirements for consumer products

- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to negotiate

- Exposure to Design Thinking is a definite plus

Basic Qualifications:

- 4+ years- experience building large consumer products as a product manager

- Bachelors / Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent engineering field

- MBA from a premier institute is a definite plus
