What are we doing? We are a venture funded FinTech startup and have just raised an initial round of more than $25M. We are working on an awesome product that is set to transform the Payments landscape in India. Think of us a product that would make all the leading mobile wallets redundant and usher in tremendous efficiencies in the Indian payment systems. What will you be doing? As the Chief of Staff, you will have a ringside view of every strategic decision taken by the leadership. You serve as a liaison to the board of directors and senior management teams; organize and coordinate executive search and external relations efforts, and oversee special projects. Key Responsibilities : - Present fact-based recommendations based on analysis of business initiatives using financial analysis and planning tools. - Interact with multiple levels of management both verbally and in writing and demonstrate excellent organizational skills in getting things done right the very first time. - Be the primary point of contact for internal and external constituencies on all matters pertaining to the board members and leadership team. - Work independently on projects, from conception to completion, and work under pressure at times to handle a wide variety of activities and confidential matters with discretion. - Lead the recruitment efforts to hire the business leaders for individual verticals and set up processes. - Guide senior management through the corporate planning and forecasting processes using data-driven techniques - Provide visibility to broader business and financial issues that impact other operating areas - Deliver timely operational variance analyses which identify opportunities and areas for improvement About You : - MBA Degree from IIMs or ISB only. Bachelor's degree from IITs, NITs only. - 5+ years of experience in Top-tier strategy consulting (McKinsey, BCG, ATK, and Bain only) or top-tier investment banking firm experience - Very strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders, including staff, board members, and external partners - Highly resourceful team-player, with the ability to also be extremely effective independently - Forward-looking thinker, who actively seeks opportunities and proposes solutions - Demonstrated ability to achieve high-performance goals and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment - Must be creative and enjoy working within a small, entrepreneurial environment that is mission-driven, results-driven and community oriented. - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and database management and planning tools and concepts
