Program Analyst

Job purpose: To oversee and track program developments, formally and articulately report progress and assist the senior leadership team in attaining programmatic goals

Description of Role

- Compile information from relevant sources, Government Departments and on ground staff to curate detailed progress reports and documents, to be shared with the Board and international team

- Conduct active research on best practices and potential areas of intervention to facilitate evidence-backed decision-making

- Understand research methodologies and formulate standardized qualitative reporting mechanisms

- Effectively collect and use data points to derive analytical reports and visualizations to be shared internally and externally

- Assist in overall program development by way of creating case studies, info-graphics, articles, op-eds, and write-ups

- Ensure consistent, high quality participant data is captured and documented

- Mindfully use reporting templates and follow writing standards to ensure readability, coherence and consistency

- Continually and cordially liaise with on-ground staff and Cluster Program Managers (CPMs) to keep abreast with program developments

- Assist the new and growing team in other unrelated tasks as and when required.

Experience

- 1-2 years experience in documentation, report writing and project management

- Experience in undertaking qualitative and quantitative research methods and ability to use data to weave into briefs and reports.

- In-depth knowledge of evaluating projects and analyzing project impact

- Experience in handling and working with large scale Government data and scheme documents

Essential Qualifications

- Bachelors or Masters degree in a related field (Engineering, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Public Policy etc.) or MBA from a premier B-School

- Thorough knowledge of MS Office

- Eager to take initiative, work independently and use downtime effectively

- Willing to travel to the field for meetings/orientation as an when required
