LetsTransport - Financial Controller - CA (6-12 yrs)

Role Objective -

Finance leadership role which will be responsible for all aspects of Financial Management, Treasury, Taxation & Compliance. This will include Accounting & Reporting, internal controls, Working capital management, banking relationships, audits, taxation & compliance. Need to maintain impeccable standards of governance.

Reporting & Location : Head of Finance, based in Bangalore

Team Reporting: 2-3 executives direct and extended team of 10-15 people

Qualification: CA with 6-8 years experience in finance and 2-4 years experience as controller role

Financial Management - 

1. Prepare organization for next level of growth financial system, process & people

2. Revenue & Cost Management : Invoicing, Collections, Dunning, Settlements, Reporting etc., Accounts payable to drivers and partners

3. Lead record to report - Accounting entries, month close and reconciliations. Create new benchmark in book closing

4. Budget Control

5. Commentary on financial results

6. Revenue and bank reconciliations

7. Dealing with Statutory & Internal Auditors for Quarterly Review, Annual Accounts

8. Lead the outsourcing partners work and relationship

Internal Controls, Taxation & Compliance:

1. Set-up control framework financial and operational

2. Monitoring and reporting on controls exceptions, mitigation and remediation

3. Custodian of schedule of authority

4. Creating policies & exceptions framework to enable smooth business

5. Segregation of duties

6. Lead compliance Companies Act, Labor and other state, central and banking laws

7. Lead Taxation related matter GST, Direct tax

Treasury:

1. Optimize finance cost

2. Working capital and cash management

3. Cash forecast

4. Manage banking relationships

Top 3 KPIs:

1. Significant reduction in book closing calendar

2. Set-up robust financial reporting & internal control framework

3. Reduction in working capital cycle by reduction in DSO

4. Reduce finance cost
