Lenskart - Zonal Head - P&L (8-10 yrs)

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The ideal candidate for the role of a Zonal Manager will be an enterprising individual with a proven track record of delivering business results and managing teams, with a strong desire for driving exponential revenue growth. The individual will

- Be responsible for managing and growing the overall P&L of their stores

- Grow and manage a portfolio of 50 to 100 stores across a geographical region

- Set targets for the AOMs and ensure appropriate cascading across all the stores in the Zone

- Identify areas for additional market penetration

- Monitor stores' growth through weekly review meetings with the AOMs

- Adhere to review guidelines and parameters defined by the head office and the BU Head

- Identify and address issues with under-performing stores

- Manage and expand existing stores' business as well as drive revenue growth in new stores

- Ensure strong store openings

- Understand and take actions on the store audits, market data and performance reports

- Help develop and ensure strong execution of BTL marketing strategies

- Ensure timely and adequate store staffing as per the manpower plan, and keep the attrition levels in control

- Ensure a robust talent pipeline for all the stores in the Zone

- Build and deliver the extraordinary shopping experience that delights our customers, resulting in industry leading NPS

- Drive effectiveness and productivity of the teams by supporting and ensuring the highest quality of hiring, training and retail operations

- Set and deliver the highest standards of store upkeep and staff grooming

- Create a high energy work environment across all stores in the Zone

- Develop deep customer understanding through store visits, customer interactions, and analysis of customer feedback and other reports

- Conduct regular store visits to preempt customers' issues and concerns

- Control and improve the cost structure of the Zone

- Maintain costs in line with the budget (in both, absolute and percentage terms)

- Manage the manpower cost as per the budget

- Minimize/eliminate shrinkage

- Build on the startup culture with a 10X growth spirit (doing things the "Lenskart Way")

- Compliance to the code of conduct and POSH guidelines in letter and spirit

- Be responsible for effective administration and control of the Zone operations

- Ensure complete legal and process compliance across store functions

- Build local networks with governing bodies, administrators and community

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS :

- At least 8-10 years of retail and general management experience (including international), spanning operations and business strategy

- Experience of managing a P&L in a fast growth environment

- Expertise or knowledge of Omni-channel sales strategies and processes

- Preferably holding an MBA degree from a reputed institute
