Lenskart - Process Excellence Role - Manufacturing Plant (4-8 yrs)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- You will be accountable for developing and maintaining an expert knowledge of the business, together with, knowledge of the business environment and engineering concepts, methodologies and tools & techniques
- Identify, plan and implement key projects to improve supply chain productivity and efficiency through development of robust and effective processes & operational best practices.
- Develop organisation culture of excellence and continuous improvement
- Design, research, design and develop new innovative / tech automation solutions supporting business strategy implementation
- Drive continuous improvement & process transformation projects through usage of Lean, Six Sigma and other methodologies
- Harness a combination of smart processes, analytics and technology to design and deliver on business outcome
- Create commitment across all involved teams and facilitate buy-in from key stakeholders
- Lead and ensure an effective communication and governance rhythm on key projects
Additional Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with stakeholders across several functions (Operations, Product and Tech) towards delivering the required project objectives
- Understand the as-is business processes and develop clear and detailed process maps and business requirements
- Work closely with stakeholders to analyse these business processes and workflows & identify areas of improvement
- Gather data and analyse data to arrive at actionable insights
- Continuously challenge the existing operations and processes with a view to improve operating and service performance
- Be a subject matter expert and enable systemization & automation across business processes
Required Candidate profile
- Graduate / Post graduate degree in Industrial Engineering / Operations / Supply chain from a top tier college
- 4-6 years of experience as a process specialist/ Industrial Engineer in manufacturing industries/ E-commerce with excellent command in Lean/Six Sigma methodology
- Six Sigma Black Belt certified
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills
- Solution Oriented - Critical thinking, data analytics, bias for solution and execution
- Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills
- Able to manage change and ready to unlearn and learn quickly
- Excellent verbal & written communication and presentation skills
