Compensation Senior Specialist - Asia Pacific
Brief Position Description : Support and optimize compensation processes of the APAC Geo, manage compensation/act as comp SPOC for the CAP Region in AP Geo.
Position Responsibilities :
APAC GEO :
- Govern compensation parity, approve exceptions, inter-country and Band 10 offer approvals
- Comp SPOC for Annual performance management, ATI plan, performance unit design, and communication
- Work on off-cycle salary increases and promotions processes
- Provide analytical support and consultative advice to stakeholders on Analysis of internal and external competitiveness of pay
- Alignment of policies with statutory governance (which may lead to work with internal and external audit teams from time to time)
- Emerging trends, issues, and best practices
- Support region projects from time to time such as M&A
CAP Region :
- Collaborate with CAP region HR partners to understand the nuances of each market, improve effectiveness of comp governance, provide support for custom compensation studies
- Provide pre-ACC analysis of comp data/priorities, analyse market and Lenovo data for salary structure revision, review Tier 3 merit calibration
- Review effectiveness of Sales incentive plan and communication
Key Stakeholders :
- Business leader of the CAP Region and AP Geo
- HR Leader, CAP HR and HR Partners
- CFO, CAP Finance and Finance controllers of the geo
- Compensation peers in other geographies, global project managers
- Talent Acquisition team to govern hiring compensation
- Global Mobility team for defining local hire / internal assignment compensation
Position Requirements :
- Excellent communication and influencing ability
- Excellent analytical skills and logical thinking ability
- Financial and business acumen
- Excel, Powerpoint, HRIS and payroll processes
- Large scale project management
Qualification :
- Premier business school graduate with 2-5 years of experience in large multinational organization(s)
- Previous experience of compensation and benefits strongly preferred
