Senior Compensation Specialist

Band : 7, Bangalore

Global Sales Compensation :

1. Assist the Global Sales Compensation Manager in design and delivery of sales incentive plan framework across PCSD and DCG businesses of Lenovo.

2. Work closely with the HR Analytics team to plan, develop, evaluate, improve, and communicate methods and techniques for data quality, retrieval, data collection, data analysis and data presentation related to sales compensation.

3. Work closely with the Incentives and Commission Teams across geographies to identify process improvements and communication requirements related to sales compensation.

Regional Compensation:

4. Deploy Global Compensation processes across businesses; ownership for India and assistance in Asia Pacific geography. Key priorities include: annual performance management and salary increase program management, labour cost monitoring, short term and long term incentives payout validation, statutory bonus payout adviceetc.

5. Align compensation policies with statutory governance, work with internal and external audit team from time to time

6. Participate in market compensation benchmarking studies, design salary ranges, analyze internal and external competitiveness of pay, and recommend annual salary increase budget. Continue to conduct ongoing research into emerging trends, issues and best practices.

7. Single point of contactin India for

a. Talent Acquisition Team to govern hiring compensation

b. HR Partners for job evaluation, assessment of promotion and out of turn salary increases

c. Global Mobility Team for defining local hire / internal assignment compensation

Special Projects:

8. Unique opportunity to play a key role in the project team, help shape the outcome of these efforts, drive implementation and set up internal processes, structures and tools to effectively deliver the assignment (e.g. compensation structuring and fitment during an M&A in the region)

Key Skills and Knowledge areas

- Excellent communication and influencing ability

- Excellent analytical skills and logical thinking ability

- Financial and business acumen

- Excel, power point amongst the most frequently used tools

- Large scale project management

- HRIS and payroll processes

Qualification

- Premier business school graduate with 4-6 years of experience

- Previous experience of compensation and benefits strongly preferred

- Six sigma certification preferred
