- In the Consumer PC category, Lenovo is one of the Top 3 brands in the country with close to ~20% market share across laptops and desktop AIOs. Lenovo brand is the strongest in India worldwide outside of China and enjoys very high levels of awareness and consideration. Lenovo Consumer PCs are widely distributed and known for their breakthrough innovation and outstanding value.

The Head Marketing - Consumer PC and Tablet will be responsible for brand growth that enables our business trajectory and ambition. In the Consumer PC segment, s/he needs to demonstrate growth and impact in the following areas:

1. Strategic thinking and planning - Design and deploy robust annual and quarterly marketing plan keeping the category, consumer and channel objectives in cognizance

2. Nurturing the Lenovo brand and its presence in key segments - Create a comprehensive marketing mix that addresses long term goals to build a distinctive brand and short term demand generation objectives

3. Operational excellence and support to the consumer segment team - Set systems and processes to ensure on time, in full delivery of marketing plans, measurement of outcomes and timely communication with the HQ segment team and regional sales leaders. S/he also needs to manage joint marketing plans with top e-tail accounts - Flipkart, Amazon and Paytm through the team

4. Building leading edge in Digital and Data technologies towards improving consumer experience - Set a compelling vision and aggressive execution plans for growing on digital maturity: Paid, Earned and Owned media, Mar-tech implementation, Social listening and response management, managing visibility and ad fraud, driving joint business plans with Google, Facebook and Adobe, building an agile system for measurement of key CX metrics

5. Developing a cohesive team and grooming top talent for future growth - Coach and mentor team members for core functional skills, Lenovo leadership behaviors and build a succession plan for key marketing roles

Functional scope of Head - Consumer PC and Tablet will include End To End planning, management, execution and measurement of all ATL, Digital, Social and BTL programs in the Consumer PC and Tablet businesses.

Position Requirements

Education/ Qualification:

Must Have: Management degree from one of the Top 10 business schools in India

Desired:

Management degree from IIM A,B,C, XLRI

Work Experience

Must Have: 2007 batch, 11 years (1 year MT + 3-4 years of sales + at least 4-5 years of core marketing experience), Significant experience having worked in a Top FMCG/ Technology/ E-commerce company

Desired:

At least 2006 batch, 12 years (1 year MT + 4-5 years of sales + at least 5-6 years of core marketing experience), Significant experience having worked in a Top FMCG/ Technology/ E-commerce company.
