Job description:

We are looking for zealous individuals with strong financial sense and negotiation skills to develop the liability end of our business by cultivating and fostering relationships with external stakeholders. The recruit will manage the process of raising funds for marketplace operations and debt capital while engaging with a host of public and private sector banking and non banking institutions, wealth managers and legal advisors.

Key responsibilities : 

- Manage and lead the identification of potential investors, and approach Public and Private sector Banks and NBFCs both existing and new; including identification of overseas funding sources. Funding would be as vanilla and structured debt capital from lending partners in form of various credit lines and financial instruments

- Building on an annual calendar of key borrowing program prospects.

- Continuously keep an eye on cost of funds while ensuring adequate liquidity in the business

- Proactive management of credit rating institutions and understanding of various data sets required for rating upgrades

- Build on relationships with existing investors, writing reports to meet deadlines and submitting further applications for funding

- Increase the volume of lending partners required to meet business financial requirements

- Create, monitor and manage all documentation and presentation materials required for investment capital for debt capital

- Prepare fund models for fundraising opportunities

- Understand due diligence requests from prospective investors, research and gather necessary information and prepare a comprehensive response

- Liaison with Advising, Investment banking, Wealth Managers and large legal firms on regular basis and keep the management updated on such interactions

- Produce detailed annual action plans on specific areas of responsibility outlined above, identifying areas for growth and development and outlining measurable objectives

- Contribute new ideas for fundraising and identify suitable funding initiatives, calls for proposals etc

- Consistently organize and prioritize various projects to deliver a high-quality work-product on time

- Successfully develop and maintain tracking tools and presentation templates

- Ensure all tasks, deliverables and documentation are created with the highest level of accuracy

- Monitor and manage progress and obstacles across multiple projects and course-change to ensure successful completion

- Manage details and drive the debt capital raising process including dealing with internal and external stakeholders for reporting and information requirements

- Develop and maintain ALCO reporting & application systems and coordinate information with management and also work on board and investor presentations

- Objectively review the success and achievements against agreed targets, identifying strengths, weaknesses and areas for development

Job requirements : 

- 10+ years of fund raising experience, preferably in large NBFCs, Investment banks or Corporate banking

- Should have handled 8-10 member senior team members dealing with various investment proposals, business projections, structured transactions, legal execution documents and investor reporting

- Strong existing relationships with credit ratings, senior bankers including public and private sector banks, various funds, lenders and investors in market

- Very strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners

- Experience in facing board and borrowing committees to make effective presentations on business liquidity, asset liability match and short, medium and long term fund raising program strategy

- Strong analytical and written communication skills - ability to synthesize information and create clear and coherent presentations

- Strong project-management and organizational skills

- Ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously with excellent attention to detail

- Previous experience creating effective processes to manage voluminous workflow

- Forward looking thinker, who is proactive in identifying issues and proposing solutions

- Ability to understand the task and work independently to accomplish the goal

- Expertise in the Microsoft Office Suite (including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
