Head - Sales

Lendingkart is a well-funded start up that uses analytics and online data to determine whether it wants to lend to businesses or not. So instead of filling paper forms and making multiple trips to the bank, the businessman just logs in, provides access to his online footprint and we use our proprietary self learning algo for credit-scoring and to decide instantaneously whether we want to lend to him or not. There is enough data footprint online to determine the intent to pay back a loan, quality of his product/service, health of his business, and his ability to compete etc.

We are a team of ISB, IIM grads determined to automate the entire banking decision and delivery process.

About the Role:

As Head - Sales, you will focus on delivering a world-class customer experience and exceptional sales and margin growth as we rapidly expand and grow our selection of borrowers/vendors from around India. The person who joins the leadership team in this position must share our passion and commitment for serving our customers.

Responsibilities:

This person will have responsibility for:

- To Find new customers for growth

- Work with Product and Channel Partners

- Diversifying the sources of business generation by making strategic tie-ups with the prospective business partners.

- Achieve number of merchants/borrowers, volume of business & profit targets, and have a keen focus on achieving the supply target with his / her team

- On-time performance and should take the ownership of his work.

- Identify new trends & opportunities in the market, understand the problems with existing merchants and work closely with the team to resolve them.

- Work with marketing Department and help in implementation of hyper local activities with the sales team.

- Hire new recruits and Train the entire sales team to get the maximum out of the team.

Skills-required:

- Presently working in similar capacity with Banking/ Insurance/FMCG/eCommerce industry handling zones or regions etc.

- Proven negotiation skills, strong communication & presentation skills

- Team Management: Experience of handling sales team
