Position : Associate Director Portfolio and Collection Analytics

Location : Ahmedabad

Roles and Responsibilities :

1. Support tactical and strategic projects with analytical input to aid organization take data backed decisions.

2. Conceptualize reports to track key business metrics and work with technology team to develop the dashboards.

3. Must be able to connect and establish credibility with stakeholders and support risk analytics related requests across all aspects of lending life cycle

4. Should be able to engage successfully across multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Portfolio :

1. Independently track and evaluate efficacy of existing underwriting policies; and work on developing new strategies to improve underwriting standards.

2. Analyzing portfolio trends and performance across dimensions like products, programs etc.; and propose recommendation for policy changes.

3. Ability to bring together diverse datasets from application, internal performance, and credit bureau for insights.

4. Develop statistical models to project portfolio-performance to aid in business planning.

Collection :

1. Utilize bureau data from scrubs and triggers to identify customer-segments to focus upon by collection team.

2. Develop statistical models for collection prioritization to improve efficiency of the collection process.

3. Improve collection efficiency by implementing VAR-based or risk-based strategy.

4. Tracking performance of new programs/ products using Early Warning Indicators; and establish their thresholds

5. Analysis of trends on metric like roll-forward rate, bounce rate across different dimensions like dpd bin, geography, agency, product etc.

Desired profile/Skills :

1. Bachelors/ Masters degree from a Tier-1 institute with strong quantitative aptitude and business acumen

2. High-level of proficiency in SQL and Excel. Hands-on experience in R/ Python is a must. Clear understanding of basic financial and statistical concepts is a plus.

3. At-least 5-7 years of previous experience in financial services/ credit bureau is highly desirable.

4. Ability to think logically, critically, and constructively about complex problems, clearly communicate findings and propose solutions that address expressed needs
