Business Manager - Group Finance:

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist Group CFO in driving various Finance projects covering broad spectrum of Capital Markets, Regulatory Compliances, Finance Automation and Simplification

- Organize Group Finance Executive Committee meeting agenda papers, follow-up on actionables and drive implementation of identified projects

- Liaise with various banking and Financial institutions and consulting firms for booking senior meetings with respect to potential transactions and assignments

- Co-ordinate with Senior Group Finance staff to drive ongoing business initiatives in line with Group finance strategy

- Work with various business functions for liaison required for Group Finance projects

- Continuously think ahead with entrepreneurial mindset and identify faster/ more efficient ways of achieving results

- Keep abreast of division priorities, investor information requirements and follow-up required for timely reporting and completion across functions

- Keep an eye on various industry updates and continuously track competition key metrics

- Work on various information report standardisations to drive efficiencies in routine business

- Help with various finance presentations and business update packs considering target audience

- Understand issues and structure the problem in order to develop hypotheses around possible solutions

- Assist and communicate with executives in decision-making, program management, and initiative implementation

- Oversee strategic business initiatives from development through successful execution under the guidance of senior leadership and departmental heads

Must Have Competencies:

- Business acumen: Should have a strategic thought process with unique ability to work with the senior leaders

- Influencing and stakeholder management skills: Possess necessary maturity and influencing skills to handle negotiations and manage external and internal stakeholders

Analytical skills: Should be detail oriented, proactive to business changes and a team player willing take ownership where needed

Qualification & Experience:

- CFA/ MBA/ Chartered Accountant

- 3-5 years of work experience focused on internal and external stakeholders

- Expertise in financial modelling, financial terminologies

- Proficient in advance excel, Macros, MS office, SQL, VBA, R, Python, database
